If you are using MetaMask and seeing the "Oh no" error screen when trying to convert tokens it may be because MetaMask is only letting you sign part of the transactions needed to convert the tokens.
Here's how to identify and solve this issue.
If you try to "Sell" tokens, MetaMask opens a popup window to sign the transaction but when you click "Submit" you immediately see the "Oh no" error screen.
Below is the normal MetaMask popup window. Note: You will see "1 of 2" transactions to sign.
Now here is the incorrect popup by MetaMask. Note: You will only see 1 transaction to sign.
Solution:
- Make sure you have the private key or any other method to recover your MetaMask wallet.
- Uninstall MetaMask from your browser.
- Reinstall MetaMask.
- Import your wallet (saved in step one).
Try to convert at this stage and you should be see the "normal" MetaMask popup window displaying two transactions to sign.
